apps.blacksheepproductions.com

The event production suite you actually own

Nine production tools. One login. Your servers, your data, your rules. Built by working event producers at BlackSheep Productions — the exact tools we run our own shows on, packaged so your company can own them outright.

Launching with 30 free Founder's Versions — in exchange for real feedback →

New: one container.

These tools used to ship as separate apps, each with its own setup. BlackSheep+ is now one install — one login, one database, and every tool reading the same shows and the same people. Set up once, use everything.

What's inside

Nine tools, one production spine — and a bonus

Enter a show once. Enter a person once. Every tool sees them.

Pre-production

EventPlan+ beta

One task board per show — the monday.com replacement built for event teams.

Three statuses and nothing you don't need. Owners come from the crew confirmed on that show; clients get a link showing only the tasks that need them. Paste your Fireflies or Fathom call notes and AI turns the next steps into tasks with owners and due dates. A Monday-morning digest with one-click Completed / Working On, live personal task pages, and a duplicate-as-template that shifts every due date to the new show's dates.

Availability+

Crew availability and rates.

Stop chasing crew by text. A few clicks sends each person an email; they tap Available / Tentative / Unavailable, quote rates, and sign your confidentiality agreement; your dashboard fills in live.

Budget+

Production budgeting.

Budgets and wrap reports, kept in a deliberately sealed compartment — the rest of the suite can't see your numbers, and clients see prices, never costs.

BrandingTrack+ beta

Venue branding from opportunity to installed.

Read a venue's branding packet with AI, build the opportunity board, track every wall and window to installed — and generate client review pages and vendor packets that never leak your costs. Our newest tool — early users will have the most say in where it goes.

Show week

ShowBrief+

The living show overview your team carries onsite.

Who's who with headshots, agenda, flights, rooming, weather, venue maps and the live run of show — two share links, one for your client and one for your team.

QSheet+

Run-of-show sheets for stage management.

Build the minute-by-minute show plan, day by day, item by item. Retime one item and everything below cascades, just like a real show doc — and shareable links keep printed sheets and team views from ever drifting apart.

Onsite+

Production scheduling and ops.

Rooms, days, sessions, breaks — plus a party trick: paste a contract or BEO and AI drafts the schedule for you. Everything in your production schedule travels on shareable links for the team.

StagePulse+ beta

Live event Q&A and audience voting.

The crowd submits and upvotes questions from their phones; you moderate; the big screen — or your emcee's phone — shows the top questions. Telegram alerts keep the right people in the loop.

After the show

Survey+ beta

Brandable forms and surveys — the SurveyMonkey / Typeform replacement.

Registration forms, speaker intake, post-event feedback — on a page carrying your client's logo and colors, password-gated when it should be. Multiple choice, checkboxes, text, headings, notes and images; simple branching ("only show this when…"); duplicate a form for the next show; responses on screen, as CSV, and by email as they land.

Bonus

TripSplit+ BONUS

Split trip costs with friends — or the crew.

Everyone gets a personal link, adds what they paid, and the balances settle in the fewest possible payments. Equal or exact splits, optional password, no accounts for anyone. Deliberately free-standing: it never touches your shows or your people, so it's just as happy running a ski weekend as a crew dinner.

▧ Budget+ is intentionally data-isolated from the production spine; TripSplit+ stands entirely on its own.

One spine

Your shows and your people, entered once

The suite shares two lists — productions and people. Everything hangs off them.

  • 1
One login for your teamViewer, editor and admin roles, per-tool access control, and an "end of show" switch that signs everyone out at once.
  • 2
Share links for everyone elseCrew answer availability from an email link. Clients review branding and the show brief behind a password. Audiences join Q&A with a scan. None of them need accounts.
  • 3
Live, not attachedThe brief embeds the current run of show, the schedule share shows tonight's revision. Send a link once — it stays current all week.

Confidential by design

What each audience sees is a rule, not a habit

  • Crew links show event codes, never client namesAvailability+ pages and emails expose a code like PSNC26 — the client stays confidential until the crew is booked.
  • Clients see prices, never costsBudget+ and BrandingTrack+ build every client-facing page and export from engines that structurally cannot leak markup or internal notes.
  • Vendors see specs, never pricesVendor packets carry dimensions and artwork, nothing more.

You own it

Self-hosted on your accounts, not our servers

BlackSheep+ isn't a subscription to somebody else's cloud. You get the code, and it runs on accounts you control.

  • 1
Buy onceYour license comes with your own private copy of the full source code on GitHub.
  • 2
Set it up with the walkthroughA plain-English guide written for people who have never touched a database — every click spelled out, about an hour start to finish. The code even ships with a briefing file that teaches any AI assistant (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor…) how BlackSheep+ works, so a ~$20/month assistant becomes your 24/7 technician.
  • 3
Run it for about $0/monthThe app deploys to Netlify and Supabase free tiers, which comfortably run a production company. Your data lives in your own database.
  • 4
Invite your teamAdd teammates from the app, set roles, go run shows.

Why it matters

No seats. No rug-pulls.

  • Your data never touches our serversClient lists, budgets, crew rates — we couldn't peek if we wanted to. Every tool exports to CSV/JSON, and the database itself is yours.
  • No per-seat fees. Ever.Unlimited team members, unlimited shows, unlimited events.
  • It can't be taken awayIf BlackSheep vanished tomorrow, your suite keeps running — the code is on your GitHub and the license check fails open.
  • Make it yoursChange fields, colors — even replace our branding with your own. It's your copy.

The Founder's Program

The first 30 copies are free

BlackSheep+ is launching as a Founder's Version — the complete, working suite we run our own shows on. We're giving 30 of them away to production companies who'll actually use it.

  • 1
You get the whole suite, freeAll nine tools plus the bonus, your own copy of the code, the setup guide — everything a paid license includes.
  • 2
You commit to using it and telling us the truthRun it on real shows and send feedback — what's confusing, what's missing, what broke. That's the price.
  • 3
Founders shape the Final VersionSuggested features and fixes from founders go into the Final Version — and founders upgrade to it.

Upgrades that respect your changes

Your AI agent does the upgrade — carefully

Because you own your copy, you may have customized it. So the upgrade to the Final Version ships as a document your AI assistant works from: it reviews the changes you've made first, then applies the upgrade around them — instead of bulldozing your work with a blind update.

The subscription math

Renting this capability tool-by-tool, at published prices:

ReplacesCovered byTypical cost
Audience Q&A & polling (e.g. Slido, Professional)StagePulse+$900 / yr
Run-of-show software (e.g. Rundown Studio, Shoflo)QSheet+$600–1,000+ / yr
Crew scheduling (e.g. LASSO — quoted per crew member, per month)Availability+$1,000+ / yr
Planning seats for the team (e.g. monday.com, 10 seats)EventPlan+ & ShowBrief+$1,400+ / yr
Forms & surveys (e.g. SurveyMonkey Team, Typeform)Survey+$400–900 / yr
A typical stack, every year, before your team grows$4,300+ / yr
BlackSheep+ — all of it, unlimited seats$1,999 once

Subscription pricing changes constantly — these figures reflect the vendors' published prices when BlackSheep+ was developed (August 2026: slido.com, rundownstudio.app, shoflo.tv, lasso.io, monday.com, surveymonkey.com, typeform.com) and should be close to current. Most bill annually, per seat or per crew member, and rise as you grow. BlackSheep+ pays for itself against the first year of a typical stack, and every year after that costs $0.

Questions

Asked before buying

Do I need to be technical to set this up?

No. The walkthrough assumes you've never touched a database, goes one click at a time, and tells you what you should see at each step — about an hour start to finish. The code also ships with a briefing file that instantly teaches any AI assistant (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor…) how BlackSheep+ works, so a ~$20/month assistant can set it up with you, fix anything, and make custom changes on request.

Where does my data live?

In your own Supabase project — a real Postgres database on an account you own, in your name, with your password. BlackSheep never has access to it.

What does it cost to run each month?

Typically nothing. Netlify and Supabase free tiers comfortably cover a production company's usage; the optional AI features (contract extraction, venue packet reading) use your own Anthropic API key, billed by usage. And if your business ever grows into the paid tiers of those services, keep the math in view: you'd be paying a modest infrastructure bill for tools serving your whole team — the savings against per-seat software subscriptions should stay dramatically larger than the recurring investment.

Can crew, clients and audiences use it without accounts?

Yes — that's the point of the share links. Crew answer availability by email link, clients open password-protected review pages and briefs, audiences join Q&A by scanning a code. Only your internal team needs logins.

What's the Founder's Version, and how do upgrades work?

The Founder's Version is the complete suite as it runs today — we're giving 30 away free to companies who commit to using it and sending feedback. Founder feedback drives the Final Version, and founders upgrade to it. Upgrades arrive as a document your AI assistant works from, so any customizations you've made are reviewed and preserved, not overwritten.

I bought one of the individual apps before. What now?

Email mark@blacksheep-productions.com and we'll sort out your upgrade path to the full suite.

What happens if BlackSheep stops selling this?

Nothing, for you. The code is on your GitHub, the data is in your database, and the license check is built to fail open. Your copy keeps working.

Try it in the demo → Read-only. A made-up show. Nothing to sign up for.
